Medicare Advantage Plans
People are either enrolled in a Medigap plan or an Advantage plan, never both at the same time. Advantage plans are private HMO and PPO plans that Medicare helps pay for. For this reason, many plans have no premium at all.
We do not find Plan Finder comprehensive enough for these plans since it only provides an estimate of the drug cost and a partial list of medical copays.
We examine with you the entire Summary of Benefits, including all the copays and the out of pocket limit. We also examine the plan's health and dental provider network account to see which plans your providers will participate with and factor in ancillary services and financial and wellness benefits that the plans include.
If you are enrolled in one of these and would like to review your options for next year or considering the switch from a Supplement to an Advantage plan, please click the button below.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy review
Unlike Medicare Advantage plans, Medigap plan benefits never change, and policyholders are allowed to apply for a new policy at any time of year. In most states, a simple review of current medical conditions is required to determine eligibility.
Most requests received during Annual Open Enrollment can be addressed before the end of February. We can typically handle all requests between received between January and September very quickly.
If you have had the same Medicare Supplement company and plan letter for at least three years, it could be time to evaluate whether the price you are paying is still fair and whether you meet the health requirements to make a change.
